We are growing back together with 94 new street trees now planted!

2024 brings with it the good news that 94 of our grow back together trees have now been planted. You know they’re ours as each tree is approximately 3+ metres high with two stakes, hessian ties and a green gator bag for watering. They are also accompanied with the attached poster, containing a QR code that provides information about the location and the tree.

The team behind the project is really excited about these new trees and very thankful to all of the guardians who have signed up to look after them in their neighbourhoods - a huge THANK YOU to all of you - we will be in touch in the coming weeks with more information.

We are still seeking guardians for a handful of our new trees, these trees have posters attached to them asking ‘Would you like to help look after me?’, if you see one of these trees, don’t live too far away, and would like to help this tree survive then please get in touch at hello@growbacktogether.org

All it takes is watering once a week from the end of March through to October, and can be a very satisfying exercise to sign up to!

We can’t wait for spring to see how these new Lewisham trees come to life, and the positive impacts they will have on their immediate surroundings.
